This is a great starter mentalism effect. Simply have someone pick a color and you can tell them what they picked. Simple, yet effective.

Without you looking, simply let them chose a color on the cube and have them place it in the box face up. Once the color is chosen and the lid is on the box, you will stun them with your ability to correctly guess the color they have chosen. Repeat time and time again and your friends just may begin to second guess what they think about around you.
